Arts in Education Programs

The Brighton Ballet/ School of Russian Ballet has over 30 years of experience with the most experienced and trained teachers. We serve small kids to adults from the New York metro area and beyond. Our workshops allow students to gain their potential ability and gain discipline through their skills. Our goal is not only to educate our students but to inspire them to go above and beyond. Our teaching plan consists of the NYC Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in Arts. Our assembly programs include a variety of:

  • Ballet

  • Folk dance

  • Contemporary and Historical Performances

  • World Dance


We use these types of dances to accommodate different workshops for different age groups. Each student is given special attention based on their skills. Our workshops run from January-June in your local community centers to your schools. Each BBT workshop has 10, 16 or 24 sessions with 2-4 periods per session (one period is equal to 45 minutes). These workshops help students gain personal experience and fundamental growth in their learning. We include all students because every child has a capacity of talent. Anyone can dance!

Fairy Tales in Motion (Grades 2-5)

This is an arts and education program that helps elementary students benefit in the art of dance and develop their literacy skills.

Understanding the World through Dance (Grades 6-12)

Students can learn a variety of basic dance elements, music, movements, space, time attention, cultural diversity, and friendship.

Music in Action (Grades K-12)

Students contribute to a large group piece of their own composition.

Jump for Joy and Why Dance

(Grades K-12)

Students can explore a range of locomotor movements that include running, hopping, jumping and skipping.
