Dance À la Carte
Just as children need to keep their minds active over the summer to be ready for school in September, it’s important they also keep their bodies moving and their dance skills progressing so that they are prepared for more challenging classes and performances in the fall.
Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced classes for children, teens and adults with private lessons also available Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-9:00pm; Sundays 10:00am-3:00pm
Dance À la Carte classes take place in air-conditioned classrooms, right on the shores of Manhattan Beach! We are
located on the campus of Kingsborough Community College. For more location

BBT's SUMMER DANCE PROGRAM (A LA CARTE)
Sunday, July 12 - Thursday, August, 13, 2020
Summer 2020 In-Person Classes are conducted at
The Center for Artistic Development, Inc.
2880 West 12 Street, Brooklyn, NY 11224
The Dance À la Carte program accommodates students from 2-16 years-old, as well as older teens and adults at all levels of ability and experience.
For students with busy daytime commitments and hectic summer weekends, our À la Carte option is the perfect way to start or continue serious dance training on a flexible schedule tailored to your needs. Students may choose as many classes per week, for as many weeks as desired, during our 8-week summer session. Group classes* range in price depending on individual selections (per-class prices are lower when a student or family registers for more classes per week) and a total number of weeks.
* NEW GUIDELINE! Classes are in the capacity of 6-8 people max per room, beside the teacher. This way we can keep everyone on a safe distance - 6 ft. apart.
During the summer we feature several special guest instructors, as well as our regular faculty. Private and boutique lessons are also available by arrangement for those students who are preparing for auditions and competitions or who simply want to hone an aspect of their technique. Learn more about who is teaching at BBT on our Faculty and Staff Bios page as well as our Guest Instructors page. Additional cost information is available on our Summer Registration page or by contacting the office at (718) 769-9161 or (929) 610-2117.
All students must audition for proper placement.
Group classes include Vaganova (Russian) Method of ballet, Horton and Martha Graham Technique, Pre-Ballet, Rhythmic Dance, Stretching, Contemporary Dance, Character Dance, and Special Program for Boys (dance and fitness classes).
