Brighton Ballet Theater’s 39th Annual Children’s Festival “World of Dance”
Brighton Ballet Theater proudly presents its 39th Annual Children’s Festival, The World of Dance - a joyful celebration of our students’ dedication, growth, and love for the art of dance. After two semesters of hard work and commitment, our young dancers take the stage to share what they have learned, experience the excitement of performing under the lights, and create lasting memories that will stay with them for years to come.
At Brighton Ballet Theater, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to dance, dream, and express their unique story through movement. This vision continues to thrive thanks to our dedicated faculty, supportive families, and vibrant community.
As we celebrate this special milestone, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our students, families, and supporters for their unwavering commitment to the arts. We are deeply grateful for the support of the Brighton Beach Business Improvement District (BID), the Brooklyn Arts Council (BAC), and City Council Member Inna Vernikov. Thanks to their generosity, we are proud to present a vibrant, multicultural program featuring Ukrainian, Polish, Indian, and Jewish folk dances, as well as the renowned Crimean ensemble Haitarma - a powerful reminder that dance unites communities and preserves cultural heritage. We are especially proud of today’s folk dance ensembles, whose performances were made possible through scholarships and additional rehearsals, generously supported by our teachers and community partners.
For nearly four decades, Brighton Ballet Theater’s performances have delighted audiences and earned praise from educators, families, and local media alike. The World of Dance continues this tradition - offering an inspiring opportunity to experience the beauty, diversity, and joy of dance, performed by the talented students of Brighton Ballet Theater.
None of this would be possible without the passion and dedication of our extraordinary teachers. Their energy, creativity, and commitment shape every class, fostering strong connections with students while inspiring both artistic and personal growth. Through original choreography and innovative teaching, they bring our mission to life each day.
