Brighton Ballet Theater is seeking talented, passionate young dancers.
Competition dance offers young dancers an exciting opportunity to grow both as performers and as individuals. Through focused training, rehearsals, and performance experience, dancers develop confidence, stage presence, teamwork, discipline, dedication, and artistry while continuing to strengthen their love for dance.
As members of the BBT Competition Team, dancers have the opportunity to perform on stage, train with our professional artistic faculty, take on new artistic challenges, and compete alongside a supportive team of fellow dancers.

During the workshop, dancers will:
Strengthen dance technique, flexibility and performance skills
Learn dynamic competition choreography
Improve artistry, musicality, and stage presence
Receive personalized coaching from Brighton Ballet Theater's professional faculty

Prepare for competition team placement and upcoming events

who can audition?
Boys and girls, ages 6 - 18, with a minimum of two years of dance experience are encouraged to audition.

Center work and across the floor in a variety of styles

if admitted to join the competition team, be prepared to:
Travel for competition weekends (New Jersey, Queens)
Commit to weekly rehearsals in addition to technique classes
Commit to other performances
