Achievements & Awards
Brighton Ballet Theater dancers and the Brighton Ballet Company have had the distinct honor to perform at many of New York’s most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, The Javitz Center, Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center, Tribeca Performing Arts Center, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. We are frequently invited to participate in local parades, festivals, and other cultural celebrations as well.
Although competition is not our principal focus, our students do compete at the World Ballet Art Competition, Long Island Ballet Competition and the Youth America Grand Prix, where many BBT ensembles and individuals have won top awards in their age categories. BBT is very selective about the competitions in which we participate as we choose only those competitions with the most qualified judges, best masterclasses and greatest ability to build students’ resumes.
