Brighton Ballet Theater has been known to serve the immigrant and economically challenged individuals of South Brooklyn. We proudly carry the name "Brighton Ballet Theater". New Yorkers identify Brighton Beach Avenue with Brighton Ballet Theater from the amount of multimedia coverage that the school has brought to this area.
I love my community because it unites everybody from all backgrounds and religions, and we all speak one language of dance. I'm surrounded by love and smiling faces, which is what my life is all about". This statement given by Irina Roizin at the Neighborhood Achievement Awards in 2005 clearly identifies with the rest of the Brighton Ballet Theater staff and students.
